The Morph AU
Warranty
Last updated 21 September 2026
This warranty is given by Real Build Services Pty Ltd trading as The Morph AU, ABN 66 610 275 548, PO BOX 979, Narellan NSW 2567, Australia.
What is covered
For twelve months from the date your order is delivered, we will repair or replace the case if either of two things fails through a manufacturing fault:
The E-Ink display on the back, if it develops a manufacturing fault that prevents it from rendering designs as intended.
The NFC, if the case stops accepting a transfer from the Morph app.
Those two components are what this voluntary warranty covers. This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
This warranty applies only to cases purchased directly from The Morph AU through our website or from an authorised Morph stockist. It applies to the original purchaser and does not transfer to someone you sell or give the case to.
We may ask for reasonable proof of purchase, such as an order number, receipt or other evidence showing where and when the case was purchased.
How the panel behaves, and what is not a fault
An e-ink panel is not a screen, and two of the things it does are normal.
It holds a faint trace of the previous picture. You may see a shadow of the old design underneath the new one, most visibly in large flat areas. It fades as you change the design and it is how the technology works.
It renders colour differently from your phone. Colours may appear softer or different from how they look in the app. The app provides a preview of how the design is expected to appear on the E-Ink panel before you send it.
Neither of those is a defect and neither is covered by this warranty. If you are unhappy with how a picture looks on the panel, that is a returns question rather than a warranty one, and the Refund Policy covers it.
What is not covered
A shell that is cracked, chipped, split or scratched.
A display with visible impact damage, a crack, or a dent.
Damage caused by liquid exposure, immersion or liquid entering the case.
Any case that has been opened, taken apart, or had the display separated from the shell.
Wear that comes from ordinary use: marks on the finish, flattening of the lining, or a stand that has loosened over time.
Any fault in your phone rather than in the case.
A transfer that fails because of your phone, its operating system, its settings or another app. NFC transfers rely on the phone's NFC hardware and power, so a transfer that does not start or complete is not necessarily caused by a fault in the case.
A transfer that is slower than usual. Transfer times can vary depending on the phone, NFC conditions and other factors. NFC draws through your phone, so low power mode, a thick screen protector, a case that is not sitting flat, or the phone being busy will all slow it down. A slower-than-usual transfer does not necessarily indicate a fault with the case.
A case fitted to a phone it was not made for. Each case is sold for named iPhone models and is only covered on those.
Any case bought from a seller other than us or an authorised stockist.
How to make a claim
Email support@themorph.com.au with your order number, the date you received it, and photographs showing the fault. We may ask you to send the case back for inspection. If the issue is covered by this warranty, we will cover reasonable postage costs for returning the case to us and sending the repaired or replacement case back to you.
If the claim is approved we will repair or replace the case, whichever we judge appropriate. Where a replacement is not available in the same finish we will offer the nearest one or a refund.
A repaired or replaced case carries the rest of the original twelve months. It does not start a new twelve month period.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and, in some circumstances, compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a failure that is not major, you are generally entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
The warranty above is given in addition to those rights, not instead of them. Nothing in it limits them, and the twelve month period is not a limit on how long your rights under the Australian Consumer Law last.
